*Rules!
obey or die
obey or die
respect
-everyone should know this one. respect other members and especially the admins. problems with anyone ooc should be reported to an admin and not escalated.
rating
-PG-13; this means that it's not baby but it's not super bad. we still will follow the guidelines of proboards, so make sure you're familiarized with those
registration
-first middle last; no exceptions, and try to get it right the first time. it's a pain for the admins having to change every single name.
posting, part 1
-we are intermediate to advanced, which means absolutely no one-liners whatsoever. do it and you're deleted. our minimum posting is two hundred words / two good paragraphs. if you're detailing your posts, it's not that hard to make your posts at least two hundred words. seriously. if you really need help on that, contact your admins. they'll be glad to help you figure out details for posts.
posting, part 2
-spell check and proofread. no text talk, IM lingo, any of that in posts. we understand that there are words that you might not be sure of how to spell, but please at least google and use a dictionary. correct grammer and punctuation are love too. the admins are not your english teachers and will not try to critique your writing. instead they'll be college professors and ignore it. harsh reality.
mature content
-sexual, graphic, violent, language, anything of that sort. if you have anything in your posts that go to rated r type material, we ask that you put {M} at the beginning of your topic title.
-also with this, we know that the rating is high, but for sexual content, if you must go further into the graphic details and describing every little thing, take that into private messages please.
-it's better to be safe than sorry, so if you're not sure if your thread is mature or not, ask an admin.
graphics
-avatars are 100x100 or 100x200. signatures must not stretch the page.
godmoding
-people mainly associate this with controlling another character. we're going to associate this with everything. no controlling other characters, no mary-sue's/gary-stu's, your character cannot know what's going on in another thread without being there or being told by someone who was in the thread, etc.
-if you're not sure if you're godmoding or not, ask an admin.
activity
-there will be activity checks, and we require that you post at least once a week in character. post however much you want out of character, but it doesn't count towards your activity.
death
-it doesn't matter if you talked it over with the other person or if it's suicide, any plans of character death must be told to the admins. who's involved and the circumstances. the admins will then discuss and decide if you may proceed or not.
anything else
-will be noted by the admins when thought of
