[/size]Bella woke up late that morning. But it was summer, what did she have to get up for? Her unset alarm clock's lime green LED digits told her that it was eleven thirty five in the morning. Smiling lightly, she sat up and stretched, but could not help but crinkle her nose in disgust as she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror that was parallel to her bed. Bella felt ugly without her wig and makeup, but then again, who would find a completely bald and non-made-up girl attractive? Trying not to look at herself too much, she went about getting ready for the day. Bella showered and dressed, then went back to her room, where her wig and makeup was waiting for her. She started with what everyone believed to be her real hair by wetting it down with a misting bottle, and then pulling the strands into a fun, flirty French braid. She had three wigs total, all the exact same color. One was for when she decided to wear something like a braid or ponytail, another for leaving it down, and the final one was exclusively for special occasions.
Bella finally felt somewhat decent after securing her wig, the makers put so much effort into them, each one looked like her real hair, given trivial details that made them seem so realistic. Bella's had a very slight widow's peak instead of just being rounded. That was what her natural hair had looked, before she lost it all. She had been a bit lighter blonde originally, but it was close enough. And she liked the dirty-blonde hue of her wigs, she felt they went better with her tan than any other shade. Bella began on her makeup, first carefully drawing on eyebrows with a pencil (she didn't have those either), and then applying a specialty brand of fake eyelashes. They looked as real as you could get, she just had to wait a bit for the glue to harden before putting on the rest of her makeup. Forty-five minutes later she was ready to go. Bella snagged her purse, and then decided to walk to Starbucks as she could not drive, and nobody was home to take her. It wasn't that far a walk, anyways.
Since it was now past noon, the coffee joint was nearly empty, so Bella marched straight up to the counter, and examined the menu for a moment. Yes, the usual. "A tall caramel Frappachino please, extra coffee, nonfat milk, no whip." Bella said confidently. She paid for her coffee, and then waited for the solitary employee across the counter to make it for her. She grabbed the completed iced drink without thanking the acne-scarred young man and selected a seat in one of the leather armchairs near the window. At the first sip Bella immediately felt more alert, if she didn't know any better she would say that the Starbucks recipes included cocaine. When the bell over the door dinged, Bella could not help but look over and try to see who it was.
