Sad. Tragic. Actually Pathetic really. It was just pathetic how Genni Lorchelle was sitting all alone in the bleachers by the soccer field while everyone else was inside in the cafeteria eating lunch with their friends. She sighed lightly. She didn't feel much like sitting in a crowded room full of people when it always felt like everyone around her could read her thoughts loud and clear. And her thoughts lately were all about Clark and, not really about how she missed the guy....but about how everyone was reacting after his death. She shook her head, some of her blonde hair falling into her eyes. She flipped it back and rested her chin in her hands.
It didn't seem to make sense to the girl. After Clark was found dead, it brought more attention to the small group of, quote unquote, "emo kids". Everyone seemed to be watching them. Just waiting for another one of them to string themselfs off a tree of jump off the roof of the school. It seemed that everytime Genni would get the smallest harm to her body, even a paper cut, people would be jumping down her throat asking if she needed help. And no...not the typical "Let Me Help You Out" help....the mental help that everyone says she and..."her kind"...need. She scoffed and glanced back toward the school and the cafeteria.
It was them who needed the help. The people who had picked and teased and tormented Clark to the point where he felt it would be better to die then endure their never ending torture. They were the real people who ought to be swarmed and offered help. And the worst part about it? They probably didn't even feel it was their fault! They probably figured it was just another kid gone wrong! They didn't see the error of their ways! That was evident since they still continued to pick and make fun of the rest of the emo kids around the school. So these emos had a few more problems then the rest of the school...it shouldn't matter.
Her thoughts were interupted as she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. She shifted and smiled. She wouldn't let her thoughts chase someone away. "Hi."
